So Far… So Amazing!

Organized Mass Chaos!

Well, I just finished three back-to-back cycles of camp and now I’m home for a few days. My band guys and I have been having a BLAST!

The Lord has been doing amazing things! Our worship times have been so sweet. There is no greater blessing than for a kid to tell you that they “felt God” touching their hearts for the first time.

Thank You, Lord for all You have done and for all You will continue to do this summer!

Speaking of my band, it consists of Brandon “Tex” Turner on drums, Phil Snowden on bass and Mark Snowden on guitar… yes, they’re brothers. :smile:

Not only do they bring their incredible musical gifts to pour out during worship, they also invest their time and attention to the kids through the rest of the day as well.

I’m so blessed to have them with me!

Actually, I met Brandon at a camp when he was 13 years old… now he’s 25 and he’s been playing drums at camp with me for 6 years. You just never know what the Lord has in store! :smile:

Besides the camp tour, I’ve also got a few “Can’t Stop These Shoes” concerts coming up this summer.

On July 23, I’ll be at First Baptist Church in Florence AL doing a concert. My band won’t be with me for this one, but we’ll be rockin’ it out with some “Big Apple” songs as well as other VBS songs from the past!

Then on August 12 and 13, I’ll be heading down to Pace, FL to do an event for the Santa Rosa Baptist Association. This will be the 3rd year in a row I’ve done this event with them and we always have an amazing time.

    Hey Jeff, What a Sweet time you all must have had in camp. Sounds like the Lord was there and very real to the kids, WHAT A BLESSING!!! It is SOOOO cool to hear about young guys who use their talants for the Lord and are willing to give to the kids. Praying for more of those blessings down the road!!!! Love Ya Sarah :}!!!!

    We are looking forward to having you here in Florida, Aug 12-13. Here’s some details: Pine Terrace Baptist, 6212 Pine Blossom Road, Milton, Fl, will be hosting this year. We are looking forward to hearing how God has been working in the lives of others on Friday, as we come together to share and encourage each other, for “I Will”…”Shout it Out” Missions Night. (looking forward to hearing about Uganda) Then Saturday will be our annual “Kids in the House” family worship experience-several people accepted Christ last year-the Holy Spirit moved while parents prayed with their kids at the alter. Both nights are free and all are welcome! srassociation.org for more info! Hope to have a packed house as we truly worship the Lord and lift our voices to Him!
