I’m Headed to Alaska!
Hope you guys have been having a blessed week! I spent last weekend and the first part of the week in Mississippi, but Friday night I was in Huntsville, Alabama at Willowbrook Baptist. I led worship for a mother/son banquet and it was awesome!I I could feel the pleasure of the Lord all over it as mothers and sons danced together, prayed over each other, and worshiped together!! Such a beautiful time!!
Afterwards, I drove to Mississippi for a miracle party/birthday party/Easter celebration on Saturday with about 40 of my family members. We were honoring my Aunt Linda and cousin Lisa’s recent healings, Linda’s birthday, which was actually Sunday (resurrection Sunday, how prophetic was that), and Easter. Throughout my childhood my mom’s side of the family always celebrated Easter together at my grandparent’s home and those are some of my most cherished memories. Sunday after church I drove to Carrollton, MS to visit my sister, Vickie and her family for a couple of days.
Today I’m heading to Albuquerque for an event at Eastern Hills Baptist, then Sunday I fly on to Anchorage to spend a week with the Alaska state VBS training team. I got to go there 6 years ago to travel with their team for “Arctic Edge” training and had a blast!!
Last week I mentioned my new partnership with Brentwood-Benson Publishing and the Christmas musical that I have coming out with them in May. It’s called “The Christmas Shoetree” and I hope you will check it out. It was written as a joint venture with Soles4Souls and I am super excited about all that the Lord has in store! Over the next few weeks I will be telling you about some other projects that are in the works, so stay tuned!
