Christmas Musical Announcement
It’s about 68 degrees and beautiful in Nashville today. I was just driving around with the windows down and was blown away by the amazing smells of spring! Thank You, Lord for such an incredible gift!! It’s kind of been spring in Nashville since February, but a day like this always breathes new life into you!!
New friends at Gilliam Springs Baptist in Arab, AL
This past weekend I was in Laurel, MS leading worship for Power Weekend. This was my 11th year to be involved and we had a blast!! Thanks to Elaine and Marvin Gavin, Brian Busby, Scott and Sue Sturdivant…and many others…for all you pour into it to make it such a success!! Last night I played in Arab, AL (right outside Huntsville) at Gilliam Springs Baptist. It was an awesome night!! Great to see my friend (and Children’s Pastor there), Theresa Mayo again!
I asked the audience to request some of their favorite VBS songs from any of the past 16 years and one guy went all the way back to Ocean Odyssey (2000)!! I had trouble remembering that one myself! (-: Friday I’ll be back in Huntsville again at Willowbrook Baptist.

I wanted to let you know that I have a new Christmas musical coming out in May with Brentwood-Benson Publishing! I’m so excited about it!! They approached me in December and told me they had begun a partnership with Soles4Souls and that they wanted their mission with shoes to be incorporated into the musical. Last fall my manager, Dena, and I had been talking about doing a partnership with Soles4Souls, but had not approached them yet. As soon as I heard my friend, Johnathan from BBP start talking about this, I knew the Lord was orchestrating something really special!! It’s call “The Christmas Shoetree” and it will be available in stores and online in May.
