Milk and Honey Times
I just got back from Mooresville, NC this morning. What a great weekend!
It started with my nephew’s graduation in Florence, MS on Friday night. I enjoy seeing these milestones in the lives of friends and family.
Then I drove to Memphis to catch a plane to Charlotte on Saturday afternoon. There I met my road manager Jeremy.
I stayed with one of my guitar players, Chris Jackson, and his wife Sarah. They celebrated their first year anniversary on Sunday (another milestone!). It was my first time to see their home. I was so grateful to get to visit with them.
Sunday morning I led worship at Peninsula Baptist Church. It was a really sweet time!
The Lord is moving in powerful ways in this church. I’m excited to see what HE has in store for the people there!
They have been through some tough times, but I can tell the “milk and honey” is flowing now.
Sunday night I did a “Can’t Stop These Shoes” event and we had a blast!
And finally, this morning I had a 6:30 flight back to Memphis. After landing, I drove back to Nashville, and I am ready to hit the couch!
As always, I love to hear from you after the event. You can comment below or connect with me at my Facebook page.
Here are a couple of the things I’ve heard so far:
