Partyin’ VBS style

Been partyin’ VBS style all weekend! (-: The training event in Phoenix on Sat. went great!! I think we had around 500 people there!! Flew home Sat. night, then drove to Sevierville to do a VBS training/ concert at FBC yesterday afternoon. There were are about 10-15 different churches from surrounding areas represented there. Sweet time!! Afterwards, I had dinner with one of my Centri-Kid BFF’s, Brent Allen…then, I headed to Kingsport, TN. Doing another VBS event here tonight at Indian Springs Baptist Church. Love seeing the excitement and passion that is building for this summer! I know the Lord has huge things in store!

Thank YOU, Jeff, for helping us lead training for so many VBS leaders this year! It was the largest crowd we’ve had. I’m thinking of the statistic that for every adult that is trained in VBS every year, at least 1.1 children come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior…that’s at least 500 children this year who will come to Christ!!! Doesn’t that just “float your boat”?!

I thank God for you, your talents, and most of all for your passion for bringing the gospel to children, raising up the “end time warriors”! Bless you, my friend.

    Until next time…

Jeff, Thank you for sharing your talents with so many people, especially the children. I was at First Baptist Church in Sevierville on Sunday Apr 3rd. I brought 6 others with me from Antioch Baptist in Dandridge and the response was the same from all of them, they were so pumped up and inspried to work in VBS. The youngest with me was 7yr old Tyler Clark. He helped on stage and I took your picture with him. He was so excited his mother said he couldn’t sleep that night for talking about his adventure with you. Thank you so much. You really made his day and mine.

    Hey Jeff,
You may not remember me because you have seen so many people at CentriKids Camps, but I was one of the “student-leaders” at one in Shocco Springs, AL last year, I wanted to tell you that you touched my life as much as you did all of the kids at that camp. I am hoping to be a full-time children’s minister when God allows that to come to be. You have inspired me with all of your songs and through the way you interact with kids. I know that God is working and doing amazing things with the children today, and I am glad that He uses people like you. Jeff, if there is anyway that we could possibly get together sometime – that would be one of the most amazing things to me… I would love to get to know how you do some of the things that you do…

    Love in Christ,
    Tim Wilkerson
