A Week of Miracles
Thanks so much for helping make our live stream worship times last week at CentriKid Camp a huge success!
We had over 1,000 online viewers the first night and over 600 the second night.
What you didn’t know was that on Wednesday morning after our “I Can’t Wait” worship time, my voice was completely gone. I was literally squeaking when I would try to talk!
I went back to my room and tried not to talk the rest of the day… drank lots of hot lemon water with honey… and prayed for hours! I believe the Lord’s timing is perfect. I knew this was the night HE had ordained for us to share the this worship experience online, so I knew He would give me what I needed to get through.
Throughout the day when I would “test” my voice to see if it was better… it wasn’t. I kept telling myself I was not going to worry, the Lord would deliver!
I started warming up an hour before and it was a little better, but still not where it needed to be. About 5 minutes before we started, I felt this band of heat wrap around my throat. It was like fire!
I had one of my band guys touch it and he was like, “What’s up with that?” I said, “It’s the Holy Spirit healing me! I walked out onstage and my voice was TOTALLY fine and I was able to sing everything just fine! It was overwhelming my heart almost to the point of tears a few times. Afterwards, I went back to squeaking again.
The next day, I got a text from my aunt Linda, my mom’s sister. She has been battling multiple myeloma since last year and then was diagnosed with a really rare and aggressive form of cancer in March. She had tumors in several places in her body.
I shared in an earlier blog about the brain tumor she had removed in May and the miracle the Lord did then! We have continued to believe the Lord for more miracles in her body.
Well, on Thursday she texted me that the PET scan they had just done revealed the tumors were gone and the multiple myeloma was stabilized – Praise the Lord! Thank You, Jesus!
That day my voice was squeaking again, but after reading that text I knew the Lord would walk me through again that night.
I went through the same routine as Wednesday and about 5 minutes before I walked onstage, I felt the band of heat wrap around my throat again! I smiled to myself and walked boldly onto the stage and again my voice was fine!
My heart is so full. HIS faithfulness reaches to the heavens!
