Got home from Uganda

Got home from Uganda last night! What an amazing trip!! I had barely gotten there and I could feel my heart changing…breaking, exploding…experiencing something unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. Each time I looked into one of the orphans’ faces I would see HIS face. I could feel the Lord saying to me, “This is Me looking at you”…and I would begin to weep. I saw once again that kids are kids no matter where you go in the world. The minute I would start dancing and singing they would jump in full force!! I was so blessed to get be apart of Visiting Orphans and their ministry to these little ones. From the donations that were raised, we were able to provide new mattresses for one orphanage, new shoes and socks for another and help out with other pressing needs they had…James 1:27. Thank You, Lord, for the chance to go, see and experience Your heart and a level of Your love like I never have before.
