Sorting though a lifetime of memories

Just got back from MS. I spent the week cleaning out my mom and dad’s house. We sold it a few weeks ago and we close on the 28th.

It was a pretty surreal experience. Sorting though a lifetime of memories, laughing, crying and all the while realizing a big chapter of my life was about to close… and then to walk out the door for the last time.

I could feel the Lord pouring out His grace though… once again helping me to do something I never thought I could.

I was so blessed to have been given such wonderful parents, Carl and Ruth. To have had the opportunity to be nurtured and trained by their loving, Godly hands is a gift I cherish greatly! They gave me every opportunity for success in this life!

So I give thanks in all things… in the joy and in the pain.

    Hey Brother,

Had no idea you were in Mississippi this week, but that explains why you have been on my mind so much this past week. You mentioned God’s grace being poured out on you… That truth from scripture speaks so boldly to me when going through difficult circumstances. Ironically, that has been one of my prayers for you since I met you in January. You are a blessing, and we love you my dear brother!!!
